Lived in Newfoundland, Vancouver and many places in between
Started doing construction at 13 on the end of a shovel
Has worked doing construction and framing in Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia
Other jobs included selling stereo systems/motorcycles and working with boys and girls in inner city Winnipeg group homes
Hobbies: snowmobiling, water-skiing, hunting, fishing and playing with his children
Newest challenge: learning to run the soundboard at Church
Andrea
Retired counsellor - now she works for free
Born and raised in Winnipeg
Spends her time home schooling Lukas and trying to raise self-reliant children who will make the world a better place
Hobbies: working out, walking, X-country skiing, volleyball, cello and singing
Newest challenge: learning Spanish
Lukas
Grade 8 homeschooler born in Salmon Arm
Lukas spends most of his time reading fantasy books and playing strategy board games
Lukas’ goals include being bigger, stronger and wealthier than his Dad
Hobbies: reading, computers, games, piano (forced) and snowmobiling
Current challenge: passing grade 7 piano without causing bodily harm to those supporting him
Mikayla
Grade 5 French Immersion

Mikayla loves people and doing
Mikayla is very involved in music, playing both piano and violin and starting Worship Dance at Church
Mikayla is a helper and a peacemaker
Current goal: to go to Ukraine and work in an orphanage
Arik
Age 4 (but not really)
Arik thinks that he is a teenager, which has been causing him some grief
Arik is taking violin lessons this year but claims that the sound is too loud and too high, so he has decided that he needs to switch over to cello next year
Newest challenge: hammering multiple screws and nails into our firewood.
